About Canon Pixma G2000:

Canon Pixma G2000 is a Multi-color Printer with Scanner and Copier, the device has inbuilt ink tank systems hence the cartridges can be refilled instead of replacing, this makes Canon Pixma distinct from ordinary inkjet or deskjet printers.  There are two transparent ink tanks, one was dedicated to Black ink and other was divided into three channels each dedicated to Cyan, Magenta and Yellow inks respectively, the user can refill particular color instead of all by monitoring the ink levels. 

G2000 comes with a pack of 2 empty cartridges, 4 ink Bottles, USB interface cable, Power Cable, installation CD with easy installation manual.  The user can easily assemble the printer by the help of user manual if they feel difficult, the support will be given by the manufacturer, the support available in online too. 

The device takes around 5 to 10 minutes during physical setup, it will be connected to computer using USB interface cable once after the succesful completion of setup using installation CD, the CD provides an application which was user friendly and helps user to easily execute Scanning, Printing with options such as  choosing a Page Size, Paper type, Number of prints, etc., and it takes less than a minute to execute.

         Printing process takes around less than a minute for both Color and Greyscale, the only drawback is the length of the USB Cable was shorter than normal.  The copier option make instant printout and it comes with two modes Color and Greyscale, it can be executed by simply pressing the touch keys available in top of the device. 




Flat Bed Scanner
          The built in flatbed scanner was compact, the documents can be scanned simply by placing in top of the scan surface, hence paper bends or jamming issues was prevented, the scanner has the resolution of 600x1200 dpi (dots per inch).
